Q: Can I have
my wedding ceremony at Bear Mountain Inn?
A: Yes,
The deck overlooking the lake is the
most beautiful setting for an
outdoor ceremony.
Q: Can I use my own caterer?
A: No,
Bear Mountain Inn prepares dinners for
all small weddings and we work with
caterers that we have used before by
sharing our staff with their staff. Our
Caterers are licensed and have been with
Bear Mountain for years.
Q: What is
the time frame for my event?
A: Bear
Mountain Inn hosts one event per
weekend, which gives the bride and groom
flexibility as to when to schedule the
event. The ceremony is usually 1 hour or
less with cocktail hour, dinner and
dancing between 4 and 5 hours. Bar and
Music must be closed at 10:00 pm or 5 hours
after the time it opens.
Q: Is there parking
available?
A: Yes,
there is ample parking for 200 cars and
we have parking attendants to help guest
find parking.
Q: Are
candles allowed during the ceremony or
reception?
A:
Candles may only be used if the flame is
enclosed in glass. Example: Votives,
Hurricanes etc. are all okay on the
tables. Tapers and Candelabras are not
permitted. Sparklers are not allowed on
the property.
Q: Can the
outdoor fireplace be used after the wedding?
A: Yes,
the wedding guests that are staying at
the Inn can sit on the deck overlooking
the lake and have a relaxing time after
all other wedding guests have gone home.
No loud music can be played after 10:00
because of the neighbors and the sound
of music that echo's across the lake.
Q: Can we throw Rice?
A: No.
The throwing of rice or confetti is not
permitted but bird seed is allowed.
